Aarti Kije Hanuman Lala Ki — Lyrics in English with Meaning
'Aarti Kije Hanuman Lala Ki' is the most widely sung aarti of Lord Hanuman, usually sung right after the Hanuman Chalisa. It recalls the burning of Lanka, the Sanjeevani herb and the slaying of Ahiravan. The aarti is given below in English letters and Devanagari, with the meaning of each verse in English.

Arti kijai hanuman lala ki ।
Dusht dalan raghunath kala ki ॥
आरती कीजै हनुमान लला की। दुष्ट दलन रघुनाथ कला की॥
Perform the aarti of dear Hanuman, destroyer of the wicked and the very power of Shri Ram.
Jake bal se girivar kanpe ।
Rog dosh jake nikat na jhanke ॥
जाके बल से गिरिवर कांपे। रोग दोष जाके निकट न झांके॥
By his strength mountains tremble, and disease and misfortune dare not come near.
Anjni putra maha baladai ।
Santan ke prabhu sada sahai ॥
अंजनि पुत्र महा बलदाई। संतन के प्रभु सदा सहाई॥
The son of Anjani is mighty and always helps the saints.
De bira raghunath pathae ।
Lanka jari siya sudhi lae ॥
दे बीरा रघुनाथ पठाए। लंका जारि सिया सुधि लाए॥
Shri Ram sent him with a betel-leaf token; he burned Lanka and brought back news of Sita.
Lanka so kot samudra si khai ।
Jat pavansut bar na lai ॥
लंका सो कोट समुद्र सी खाई। जात पवनसुत बार न लाई॥
Lanka was a fortress with a moat as wide as the sea, yet the son of the Wind crossed it in no time.
Lanka jari asur sanhare ।
Siyaramji ke kaj sanvare ॥
लंका जारि असुर संहारे। सियारामजी के काज संवारे॥
He burned Lanka, destroyed the demons and accomplished the work of Sita and Ram.
Lakshman murchhit pare sakare ।
Ani sanjivan pran ubare ॥
लक्ष्मण मूर्छित पड़े सकारे। आनि संजीवन प्राण उबारे॥
When Lakshman lay unconscious, he brought the Sanjeevani herb and saved his life.
Paithi patal tori jam kare ।
Ahiravan ki bhuja ukhare ॥
पैठि पाताल तोरि जम कारे। अहिरावण की भुजा उखारे॥
He entered the underworld, broke the bonds and tore off Ahiravan's arms.
Baen bhuja asur dal mare ।
Dahine bhuja santjan tare ॥
बाएं भुजा असुर दल मारे। दाहिने भुजा संतजन तारे॥
With his left arm he struck down the demon army; with his right he carried the saints across.
Sur nar muni arti utaren ।
Jai jai jai hanuman ucharen ॥
सुर नर मुनि आरती उतारें। जय जय जय हनुमान उचारें॥
Gods, humans and sages perform his aarti, crying victory, victory, victory to Hanuman!

कंचन थार कपूर लौ छाई। आरती करत अंजना माई॥
