Om jai lakshmi mata, maiya jai lakshmi mata ।
Tumko nishdin sevat, hari vishnu vidhata ॥
Victory to you, Mother Lakshmi! Vishnu and Brahma serve you day and night.
Uma rama brahmani, tum hi jag-mata ।
Surya-chandrama dhyavat, narad rishi gata ॥
You are Uma, Rama and Brahmani — the mother of the world; the sun and moon meditate on you and the sage Narad sings your praise.
Durga rup niranjni, sukh sampatti data ।
Jo koi tumko dhyata, riddhi-siddhi dhan pata ॥
You are the pure form of Durga, giver of happiness and wealth; whoever meditates on you gains prosperity, success and riches.
Tum patal-nivasini, tum hi shubhdata ।
Karm-prabhav-prakashini, bhavnidhi ki trata ॥
You dwell even in the netherworld, you grant all good, you reveal the fruit of our actions and carry us across the ocean of life.
Jis ghar men tum rahtin, sab sadgun ata ।
Sab sambhav ho jata, man nahin ghabrata ॥
In the home where you live every virtue arrives; everything becomes possible and the mind is free of worry.
Tum bin yagya na hote, vastra na koi pata ।
Khan-pan ka vaibhav, sab tumse ata ॥
Without you no sacred ritual could happen and no one would have clothes; all the abundance of food and drink comes from you.
Shubh-gun mandir sundar, kshiroddhi-jata ।
Ratna chaturdash tum bin, koi nahin pata ॥
You are a beautiful temple of good qualities, born from the ocean of milk; without you no one obtains the fourteen jewels.
Mahalakshmiji ki arti, jo koi jan gata ।
Ur anand samata, pap utar jata ॥
