Jai parvati mata, jai parvati mata ।
Brahma sanatan devi, shubh phal ki data ॥

Victory to you, Parvati Mata; you are the eternal Devi in the form of Brahman and the giver of auspicious fruit.

Arikul kantak nasni, nij sevak trata ।
Jagajnani jagadamba, harihar gun gata ॥

You destroy the clans of enemies and protect your servants; O Jagdamba, even Vishnu and Shiva sing your virtues.

Sinh ko vahan saje, kundal hai satha ।
Dev vadhu jas gavat, nritya karat ta tha ॥

The lion is your vehicle and you wear earrings; the wives of the gods sing your glory and dance ta-thaiya.

Satyug rup shil atisundar, nam sati kahlata ।
Hemanchal ghar janmi, sakhiyan sang rata ॥

In Satyug your beautiful and virtuous form was called Sati; then you were born in Himachal's home and lived with your friends.

Shumbh nishumbh vidare, hemanchal sthata ।
Sahastra bhuja tanu dharike, chakra liyo hatha ॥

You tore apart Shumbh and Nishumbh; taking a thousand-armed form, you held the discus.

Srishti rup tuhi hai janni, shiv sang rangrata ।
Nandi bhringi bin lahi, sara jag madmata ॥

O Mother, you are the form of creation itself, dyed in Shiva's love; Nandi and Bhringi play the been and the whole world sways in joy.

Devan araj karat ham, charan dhyan lata ।
Teri kripa rahe to, man nahin bharmata ॥

Like the gods we pray and meditate on your feet; with your grace the mind does not wander.

Maiya ji ki arti, bhakti bhav se jo nar gata ।
Nitya sukhi rah karke, sukh sanpatti pata ॥
