Jai bhairav deva, prabhu jai bhairav deva ।
Jai kali aur gaura devi krit seva ॥

Victory to you, Bhairav Dev; even the goddesses Kali and Gauri serve you.

Tumhi pap uddharak duhkh sindhu tarak ।
Bhakton ke sukh karak bhishan vapu dharak ॥

You uplift sinners, carry us across the ocean of sorrow, give joy to devotees and take a fearsome form.

Vahan shvan virajat kar trishul dhari ।
Mahima amit tumhari jai jai bhayhari ॥

The dog is your vehicle and the trishul is in your hand; O remover of fear, your glory is boundless.

Tum bin deva seva saphal nahin hove ।
Chaumukh dipak darshan duhkh khove ॥

O Lord, no service succeeds without you; lighting a four-faced diya and taking your darshan, sorrow vanishes.

Tel chatki dadhi mishrit mashbali teri ।
Kripa kijiye bhairav, karie nahin deri ॥

Oil and urad mixed with curd are offered to you as bhog; O Bhairav, be gracious, do not delay.

Panv ghunghru bajat aru damru damakavat ।
Batuknath ban balak jan man harashavat ॥

Ghungroos ring on your feet and the damru sounds; as the child Batuknath you delight the hearts of devotees.

Batuknath ji ki arti jo koi nar gave ।
Kahe dharanidhar nar manavanchhit phal pave ॥

Dharanidhar says — whoever sings this aarti of Batuk Bhairav gets the fruit they desire.
