Sankatanashan Ganesh Stotra — Pranamya Shirasa Devam, with meaning

Pranamya shirsa devan gauriputran vinayakam ।
Bhaktavasan smarennityamayuhkamarthasiddhye ॥

(Narad ji says) Bow your head to Vinayak Dev, son of Gauri; remember daily Ganesh who dwells in the hearts of devotees, for the fulfilment of long life, wishes and wealth.

Prathaman vakratundan cha ekadantan dwitiyakam ।
Tritiyan krishnapingakshan gajavaktran chaturthakam ॥

The first name is Vakratund, the second Ekadant, the third Krishnapingaksh (with dark-tawny eyes), the fourth Gajavaktra (elephant-faced).

Lambodaran panchaman cha shashthan vikatmev cha ।
Saptaman vighnarajendran dhumravarnan tathashtamam ॥

The fifth is Lambodar, the sixth Vikat, the seventh Vighnarajendra and the eighth Dhumravarna.

Navaman bhalachandran cha dashaman tu vinayakam ।
Ekadashan ganpatin dwadashan tu gajananam ॥

The ninth is Bhalchandra, the tenth Vinayak, the eleventh Ganpati and the twelfth Gajanan.

Dwadashaitani namani trisandhyan yah pathennarah ।
Na cha vighnabhayan tasya sarvasiddhikaran prabho ॥

Whoever recites these twelve names morning, noon and evening has no fear of obstacles; it grants every success.

Vidyarthi labhte vidyan dhanarthi labhte dhanam ।
Putrarthi labhte putranmoksharthi labhte gatim ॥

One who wants learning gets learning, one who wants wealth gets wealth, one who wants children gets children, and one who wants moksha gets liberation.

Japedganapatistotran shadbhirmasaih phalan labhet ।
Sanvatsaren siddhin cha labhte natra sanshayah ॥

Chanting this Ganpati stotra brings results in six months and success in one year — there is no doubt.

Ashtabhyo brahmanebhyashch likhitva yah samarpayet ।
Tasya vidya bhavetsarva ganeshasya prasadatah ॥

Whoever writes it out and presents it to eight Brahmins gains all learning by Ganesh's grace.
