Jai jai tulsi mata, maiya jai tulsi mata ।
Sab jag ki sukh data, sabki var mata ॥

Victory to you, Tulsi Mata; you give happiness to the whole world and are the mother who grants everyone's wishes.

Sab yogon se upar, sab rogon se upar ।
Raj se raksh karke, sabki bhav trata ॥

You are above all yogas and all diseases; protecting from sins, you carry everyone across the world.

Batu putri hai shyama, sur balli hai gramya ।
Vishnupriye jo nar tumko seve, so nar tar jata ॥

Shyama Tulsi is the creeper of the gods and is worshipped in every village; O beloved of Vishnu, whoever serves you is liberated.

Hari ke shish virajat, tribhuvan se ho vandit ।
Patit janon ki tarini, tum ho vikhyata ॥

You sit on Hari's head and all three worlds worship you; you are famous as the one who saves the fallen.

Lekar janma vijan men, ai divya bhavan men ।
Manav lok tumhin se, sukh sanpti pata ॥

You were born in the forest and came to the divine abode; the human world gets happiness and wealth from you alone.

Hari ko tum ati pyari, shyam varn sukumari ।
Prem ajab hai unka, tumse kaisa nata ॥

O dark-hued delicate one, you are very dear to Hari; his love is unique — what a deep bond you share.
