Darshan arrangements
- Darshan is free and everyone uses the same queue. The temple has no VIP ticket or online darshan pass.
- On crowded days there are long zig-zag queues; carry water and look after children and the elderly.
- The tradition is to offer Baba raw milk, roses, ittar (perfume) and peacock feathers.
- Many devotees bathe in Shyam Kund before darshan.
- Beware of fake websites: many look-alike websites and WhatsApp numbers sell ‘VIP darshan’ or tickets in this temple's name. Book only through the official website or app given below, and never pay an agent in advance.
Nishan yatra
Many devotees walk about 17 km from Ringas to Khatu and offer Baba a saffron nishan (flag). The nishan is taken around the temple in parikrama and then offered. This yatra is at its biggest during the Phalgun mela.
How to reach
- Rail: Ringas Junction is the nearest (about 17 km); buses, jeeps and taxis run from there. A new station about 11 km from the temple was announced in July 2026.
- Air: Jaipur airport, about 80 km.
- Road: direct buses run from Jaipur, Delhi and Sikar.
When is it most crowded
Every month's Shukla Ekadashi, Dwadashi, Sundays and the Phalgun mela are the most crowded days. New Year is also very crowded. For a relaxed darshan, choose an ordinary weekday, early morning or afternoon.
