His lips are sweet, his face is sweet, his eyes are sweet, his smile is sweet, his heart is sweet, his gait is sweet — everything of the Lord of sweetness (Shri Krishna) is sweet.

Chalitan madhuran bhramitan madhuran

His speech is sweet, his character is sweet, his clothes are sweet, his turning is sweet, his walking is sweet, his wandering is sweet — everything is sweet.

Venurmadhuro renurmadhurah
Panirmadhurah padau madhurau ।
Nrityan madhuran sakhyan madhuran
Madhuradhipaterkhil madhuram ॥

His flute is sweet, the dust of his feet is sweet, his hands are sweet, his feet are sweet, his dance is sweet, his friendship is sweet — everything is sweet.

His song is sweet, his drinking is sweet, his eating is sweet, his sleeping is sweet, his form is sweet, his tilak is sweet — everything is sweet.

His gunja garland is sweet, his flower garland is sweet, the Yamuna is sweet, its waves are sweet, its water is sweet, its lotuses are sweet — everything is sweet.

Gopi madhura lila madhura
Yuktan madhuran muktan madhuram ।
Drishtan madhuran shishtan madhuran
Madhuradhipaterkhil madhuram ॥

The gopis are sweet, the leela is sweet, the meeting is sweet, the parting is sweet, the looking is sweet, the courtesy is sweet — everything is sweet.

Dalitan madhuran phalitan madhuran

The cowherds are sweet, the cows are sweet, the staff is sweet, the creation is sweet, the subduing (of the wicked) is sweet, the giving of fruit is sweet — everything of the Lord of sweetness is sweet.
