Bal samay ravi bhakshi liyo tab, tinhun lok bhayo andhiyaro ।
Tahi son tras bhayo jag ko, yah sankat kahu son jat na taro ।
Devan ani kari binti tab, chhanri diyo ravi kasht nivaro ।
Ko nahin janat hai jag men kapi, sankatamochan nam tiharo ॥

As a child you swallowed the sun and darkness fell over the three worlds; no one could avert this crisis. When the gods pleaded, you released the sun and ended the suffering. O Kapi, who in the world does not know that your name is Sankatmochan (remover of troubles)?

Bali ki tras kapis basai giri, jat mahaprabhu panth niharo ।
Chaunki mahamuni shap diyo tab, chahiy kaun bichar bicharo ।
Kai dwij rup livay mahaprabhu, so tum das ke shok nivaro ।
Ko nahin janat hai jag men kapi, sankatamochan nam tiharo ॥

Fearing Bali, Sugriva lived on the mountain and waited for Prabhu Rama; the sage had cursed (Bali), so wondering what to do, you took a brahmin's form, brought the Lord, and removed the grief of your servant (Sugriva).

Angad ke sang len gaye siy, khoj kapis yah bain ucharo ।
Jivat na bachihau ham son ju, bina sudhi lay ihan pagu dharo ।
Heri thake tat sindhu sabai tab, lay siya sudhi pran ubaro ।

Ani khages tabai hanuman ju, bandhan kati sutras nivaro ।

Debihin puji bhali bidhi son bali, deu sabai mili mantra bicharo ।
Jai sahay bhayo tab hi, ahiravan sainya samet sanharo ।

Kaun so sankat mor garib ko, jo tumson nahin jat hai taro ।
Begi haro hanuman mahaprabhu, jo kachhu sankat hoy hamaro ।

O valiant great lord, you have done great deeds for the gods — just think, what trouble of a poor one like me could you not remove? O Hanuman, whatever our trouble, take it away quickly.
