Om mitray namah । Om ravye namah ।
Om suryay namah । Om bhanve namah ।
Om khagay namah । Om pushne namah ।
Om hiranyagarbhay namah । Om marichye namah ।
Om adityay namah । Om savitre namah ।
Om arkay namah । Om bhaskaray namah ॥
I bow to Surya — friend of all, the shining one, who inspires action, who gives light, who moves in the sky, who nourishes, the golden womb of creation, the one with rays, son of Aditi, giver of life, the worshipful one, and the one who spreads light. One name is said in each of the twelve rounds of Surya Namaskar.
Arghya Mantra
Ehi surya sahasransho tejorashe jagatpate ।
Anukampay man bhaktya grihanarghyan divakar ॥
O Surya Dev of a thousand rays, store of radiance, lord of the world, come; be gracious to me and accept this arghya offered with devotion.
Surya Gayatri
Om bhaskaray vidmahe mahadyutikray dhimhi ।
Tanno adityah prachodayat ॥
May we know Bhaskar and meditate on the giver of great light; may that Aditya inspire us.
